Specialist Microwave Solutions Ltd (SMS) is an independent company located on the Cranfield Technology Park, near Milton Keynes in England.

We design, manufacture and undertake repairs of hybrid microwave components, assemblies and sub-systems for the Aerospace, Defence, Industrial, Instrumentation and Telecommunications markets.

We design and manufacture a broad range of microwave components including PIN diode & GaAs FET based switches and attenuators, low noise and medium power amplifiers, diode limiters, mixers and detectors, voltage controlled oscillators and synthesised sources. We also produce integrated assemblies and sub systems using these circuit functions, together with appropriate control and supply functions.

The basic hybrid MIC (chip & bond) techniques enable us to offer a repair capability for a wide range of microwave components and assemblies: This can be valuable to users of obsolete components and assemblies. In many instances we are also able to offer 'build to print' or 'form, fit and function' replacement designs for parts that may no longer be supported by the original supply.

Specialist Microwave Solutions Ltd was established in 1999 to design, manufacture and repair small to medium quantities of custom RF & Microwave components and assemblies.

Our aim is to provide the individual attention and responsiveness only achievable within a small company.
